Started in 2021, after the COVID Pandemic year, I decided that I needed to take my love of books to the next level. I read constantly and I am always recommending stories to friends and family, so I thought, “why not do it on a larger scale?”
My husband once said that we had too many books in my house. I asked him to move out because between him and my books, well, you can guess which one I’m willing to get rid of. He no longer makes comments like that in my presence. Of course, he has issues with too many guitars, so he doesn’t complain too often.
I’m lucky enough to have been able to give my love of books and reading to my kids. Like mine, their bookshelves are overflowing with their favorites and they are usually to be found at some point in the day with their nose in a book.
