Classic tale of the three little pigs and the big, bad wolf; Spotty, Curly-tail and Little Runt leave their home to seek their fortunes. Each little pig meets a man carrying the materials to build a house, but when each house is made, the big, bad wolf arrives to blow the house down and eat the pig. The third pig is the only one who uses bricks and after the wolf is unable to blow down his home, he attempts to trick the pig to come out of the house. The pig, seeing through the ruse, tricks the wolf each time until the ending when the wolf comes through the chimney and gets boiled and eaten by the pig.
Brightly colored illustrations throughout.
